Current vacancies:

We are currently recruiting for a Learning and Engagement Manager. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a genuine passion for arts education, developing arts in the community to be responsible for the strategic development of learning and engagement at Kala The Arts.

Hours: Part time – 12 hours per week (worked over 1.5 days per week)

Role type: One-year fixed term contract (initially)

Salary: £25,000 to £26,000 per annum pro rata

Location: Basingstoke with the opportunity for hybrid working for some days

Reports to: Chief executive officer and Chair of Trustees

We are an award-winning leading South Asian arts in education charity. We run a wide range of interesting and high profile community and education programmes, regular classes and events in Hampshire and Berkshire.

Our work focuses on the power of arts, particularly dance, music and visual arts, in helping communities and individuals. We’ve developed a rich expertise in this region, delivering projects for more than 25 years.

We are looking for volunteers with experience in:

Fundraising/ Finance

Marketing and communications

Event planning

Digital/ Social media
