Our Artistic Director Sushmita Pati and Education Manager Abi Aveson had a brilliant time speaking to Lucy Ambache on BBC Radio Solent this week, as we celebrate Hampshire Day.
Sushmita and Abi met Katie to chat through our Summer with Jane project, shining a light on world-famous local author Jane Austen and her love of dance, in a project that incorporates local heritage and South Asian dance for nearby schools.
With the first Jane Austen statue globally can be visited in Basingstoke at the Willis Museum in Market Place at the Top of the Town, right by Kala’s headquarters, we’re now looking to attract a global audience to North Hampshire to celebrate the beloved author.
