We’ve spent 26 years sharing our expertise and skills in South Asian Dance across the UK’s South West region. In that time 383 schools and communities have received workshops and training from us. Thousands of children and adults have benefited from our ambitious programmes, learning classical Indian dance to help develop consciousness and creativity.
What’s involved?
As a Non-Executive Director, you’ll provide strategic leadership and guidance to support our award-winning organisation’s growth and impact. You’ll be involved in our varied projects, be given access to high profile programmes and national events. You’ll be working with a highly respected arts charity, with an opportunity to share and develop your skills whilst shaping our organisation.
The role requires a commitment of around 10-12 days per year, with travel expenses and access costs covered. You will get to join our various events, attend away days and help drive the vision of the organisation.

We are also currently recruiting a Freelance Digital Marketing Specialist. They’ll join a small but dynamic and growing team of staff, volunteers, and trustees, contributing to the visibility and impact of our work both locally and nationally. This role is ideal for someone who can bring strategic insight and hands-on delivery to drive engagement, raise our profile locally and nationally, and develop new opportunities through digital platforms.
Hours: Part time, flexible working 16 hours per month (4 hours per week)
Role type: Freelance contract
Day rate: £190 (or per 8 hours)
Reports to: Artistic Director
Location: Basingstoke with the option for hybrid working
